9 booked for allegedly kidnapping a manager of wind mill plant for ransom in Kutch

Bhuj: Dayapar police station has booked 9 persons for kidnapping Assistant Manager and other employees working at Gujarat wind farm company operating between Mata-no-Madh and Ravapar in Lakhpat Taluka of Kutch and demanding a ransom of Rs 10 lakhs.
The accused are Sardarsinh alias Sidhibha Ajitsinh Sodha of Ashapar village, Musa Mamad Rayma of Bhadra village, Champshi Valji Payan, Jenti Dosha and five other unknown persons. Assistant Manager Amish Rajiv Parikh had filed a complaint at the Dayapar police station. The accused had cordoned the gate of the company and kidnapped the Assistant Manager and other employees in the company’s office. Dayapar Police have filed a crime under various sections against the accused and started taking actions to arrest them.
It’s worth noting that the incidents of demanding money from wind mill company staffers, theft of cable, fancy petitions in courts etc often emerge from Kutch district.
