Gandhinagar: 37 per cent of total 1,51,000 teachers appeared in voluntary survey exam today which was conducted to check their preparedness. In total 57,000 teachers were present in survey exam. State Education minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama hailing this support from teachers stated that none other state in India has done a survey in such a big sample size. He said this is the first and largest survey of its kind in the country. He said the teachers joined in large number inspite of boycott call given by some people. It’s worth noting that ruling Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP)’s mother organization Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh(RSS) affiliated union of teachers in Gujarat had given boycott call against survey test. Chudasama said as many as 78 per cent teachers joined the survey test in Navsari district. In tribal populated Vijaynagar taluka 100 per cent teachers joined the survey. Chudasama said, generally such surveys would attract only 5 to 10 per cent attendance. DeshGujarat
