Gujarat govt to hold Kamalan and Other Fruits Festival

Gandhinagar: ‘Kamalam and Fruit Festival’ will take place at Karnavati Club, Ahmedabad from 2nd to 6th September 2021, said the Gujarat Government in a note today. The event is being organized with aim to increase the market of dragon fruit which has been named as ‘Kamalam’ by State government.

Gujarat Agriculture Minister R.C. Faldu will inaugurate this festival, said a release adding that around 40 to 45 farmers across the state will sell their products in 23 stalls during this festival.

In addition to Kamalam fruits, Guavas, Papayas, Export Quality Bananas, exotic vegetables and mushrooms, dehydrated products and the products of organic farming will also be sold at this festival. DeshGujarat
