JICA, NHSRCL teams visit Vadodara; satisfied with 92 per cent acquisition

Vadodara: The team of Japan International Cooperation Agency – JICA arrived in Vadodara to observe the progress of the Bullet Train Project. The officials from Delhi appreciated the 92 percent completion of land acquisition for the project.
The team from Japan appreciated the progress of this project after they got a positive response from the persons affected by land acquisition. They learnt from the affected people that they have received satisfactory compensation. The collector RB Barad and officials of the Bullet Train Project of the city had remained present during the meet.
The team of JICA and the officials of Delhi High Speed Rail Project had visited Vadodara to observe the progress of this project. They visited sites including Vadsar to Pandya Bridge. They also visited the training institute of the Bullet Train Project in the city. They discussed the changed position of the entry gate of the bullet train project with the officials. The entry gate is to be constructed beside ST Depot instead of Lalita Tower. DeshGujarat
