Group of devotees on foot from Limkheda offer 1 km long flag to Ambaji Mandir

Ambaji: Large number of pilgrims have started arriving at pilgrim town Ambaji with red religious flags to offer to the Ambaji temple ahead of Bhadarvi Punam. One such Sangh namely Dimpo Ram Group from Limkheda in Dahod district entered the pilgrim town on Saturday with 1111 gaj ( around one km ) long red flags. According to Pravinbhai, one of members of this Sangh, 170 persons had started walking to Ambaji on August 27. After nine days of yatra, their Sangh has reached Ambaji. Pravinbhai said, conventionally they would offer red flag to Ambaji mandir during Bhadarvi Punam fair, but there’s uncertainty regarding the fair due to Covid-19 pandemic and related restrictions this year.
