Palanpur: A Modi Forest will come up in North Gujarat to mark the birthday of Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi. The farmers wing of Banaskantha district BJP has organised a tree plantation program at lavana village near Lakhani taluka in Banaskantha on the birthday of PM Narendra Modi on 17th September. A Total 2071 trees of local breeds will be planted in this program. The tree plantation site will be named ‘Modi Van’.

Around 251 couples will perform pooja of trees. A drip irrigation system and wire fence will be installed to take care of plants. The felicitation ceremony of the progressive farmers of Banaskantha will also take place. Chairman of Banas dairy Shankarbhai Chaudhari officers of the district organization will remain present in this program. Later, ‘Kisan Sanman Karyakram’ will be organised in Mehsana at 3.30 PM for felicitating the progressive farmers of Mehsana district. DeshGujarat
