Cyber crime complainants in Amdavad yet to receive back over Rs. 22 crore amount

Gandhinagar: Cyber fraud cases filed with Police in Ahmedabad city were 241 and 1 in Ahmedabad rural during last one year, the State government informed to the house in reply to a question asked by an MLA on the first day of the ninth session of 14th Gujarat Legislative Assembly.
Total 291 accused were arrested in the cyber fraud cases in Ahmedabad during last one year, the government further states.
Among cyber fraud cases filed, two complainants received back the amount of total Rs 1,19,300. The recovery amount of Rs 22,03,86,439 is yet to be repaid to the victims of cyber frauds, the government further stated. DeshGujarat
