Palanpur: PM Narendrabhai Modi will directly interact with the locals of Pimpali village of Banaskantha through video conference about the implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission in Gram Sabha tomorrow on ‘Gandhi Jayanti’.

The village is selected for the direct interaction considering the satisfactory performance of Sarpanch, members and locals for water and sanitation works in the village. All 100 % houses of this village are connected with tap connections. The village has 715 houses and a population of 2444.

Rameshbhai Patel, leader and member of Pani samiti of the village said that it is a proud moment for them that PM Narendrabhai Modi selected their small village for the direct interaction.

Each house is connected with the tap connection and gutter facility and 100 percent toilets are made available in the village.

The field test kits are provided to pani samiti members and Asha worker females by water quality staff of WASMO after giving training for checking water quality. There was an issue of drinking water when this scheme of WASMO was not introduced in the village. Today, the village is divided into 10 segments with 55 to 65 houses in each segment and water is provided to each house as per time-table by arranging a uniform water distribution facility, he informed.
