Jamnagar to get new overbridges, underpass; CM approves proposal

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has approved the proposal of Jamnagar Municipal Corporation (JMC) for providing Rs 100.98 crore for construction of 2 railway overbridges and 1 railway underbridge in the city.
The finance will be provided by the state government under MukhyaMantri Shaheri Vikas Yojana. The approval has been given to a total amount of Rs 830 crores for 29 projects of Railway underbridge and overbridge so far to fulfil the aim of Fatak Mukta Gujarat (Gujarat free of railway crossings). The provision of total Rs 156 crores for railway-underbridge and overbridge in the state is made for the year 2021-22; including Rs 78 crores for municipal corporations and Rs 78 crores for municipalities.
