Gandhinagar: Gujarat Gas has imposed price-hikes of Rs 1.84 per Standard Cubic Meter (SCM) in Piped Natural Gas (PNC) and Rs 2.50 per kilogram in Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).

This comes in addition to a hike of 15 % in the tax on PNG. The price of PNG is now Rs 25.75 instead of the previous price of Rs 23.91. The total price along with tax is around Rs 29.

The price of CNG is Rs 54.45 due to the price-hike of Rs 2.50 per kg. Its price along with VAT (Value Added Tax) is Rs 58.10 per kg.

Adani gas had recently imposed a price-hike of 8 % per SCM in PNG. So, its estimated price along with tax comes to Rs 43 to 45 per SCM. Adani gas has also imposed a price-hike of Rs 2.56 per kg on CNG due to which the price of CNG is around Rs 59 per kg. DeshGujarat
