Dr. Raghu Sharma appointed as Gujarat Congress incharge

Gandhinagar: Congress party in a formal communication today made announcement that party’s national President Smt. Sonia Gandhi has appointed Dr. Raghu Sharma as All India Congress Committee In-charge of Gujarat, Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli, with immediate effect. The post of Incharge of Gujarat Congress is vacant ever since passing away of previous incharge Rajeev Satav.
Dr. Raghu Sharma is present Cabinet Minister of Health and Family Welfare in Congress-ruled Government of Rajasthan and Member of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly from Kekri constituency Ajmer district.
He was a member of parliament from Ajmer Parliamentary Constituency elected in by-election, 2018 as Congress candidate. He has also Served as Chief Whip in Rajasthan Legislative Assembly 2008–2013 in Government of Rajasthan.
