Statue of Unity: Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla, in a meeting at Kevadiya circuit house today, reviewed the progress of the preparations for the national-level celebration of the birth-anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, observed as ‘Rashtriya Ekta Divas’ which is going to take place on 31st October at Statue of Unity in Kevadiya in presence of Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi.

Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla had a detailed discussion and provided instructions and guidance about the celebration. PM Modi will give tribute to the statue of Sardar Patel on this occasion.

Gujarat DGP Ashish Bhatia informed about the preparation of Rastriya Ekta Parade to be held on this occasion in the state. Additional DGP Raju Bhargav informed about the persons to contribute in this parade through a presentation. District collector D.A. Shah gave information about proper management of the celebration through a presentation.
