Statue of Unity and other attractions at Kevadia to remain open during 28-31 October

Gandhinagar: Statue of Unity and other tourist attractions at Kevadia will continue to remain open for visitors from 28 to 31 October, the Chief Executive Officer of Statue of Unity clarified today.
Yesterday, the official website of Statue of Unity had declared that Keavadia based tourist attractions will remain closed for visitors during 28 October to 1st November.
However today in a fresh message, the website clarified, ‘We are happy to announce that on popular demand ‘Statue of Unity’ and other tourist attractions at kevadia will remain open from 28th Oct, 2021 to 31st Oct, 2021. Earlier notification regarding closure of these tourists attractions stands cancelled. However keeping in mind celebration of Rastriya Ekta Diwas -2021, adequate security arrangements shall be in place.’
It’s worth noting that Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi is coming to Kevadia on 31st of October for Rashtriya Ekt Divas function, in connection to which, the tourist attractions at Keavadia were earlier declared closed for public for five days. DeshGujarat
