ACB Gujarat nabs Sub Registrar in Rs. 8,000 bribe case

Gandhinagar: Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed the sub-registrar of sub-registrar office in Ankleshwar in Bharuch district in a bribe case of Rs 8,000.
The complainant does documentation work and he had made documents of his parties on 11th and 14th October. The accused sub registrar Pratapbhai Jesingbhai Rathvi had earlier demanded a bribe of Rs 12,000 to sign those documents. The amount was reduced to Rs 8000 after arguments. The complainant contacted ACB as he was not willing to pay the bribe. The accused Sub-registrar was found taking a bribe of Rs 8000 from the complainant during a trap executed by ACB on 20th October.
