Kandla Port’s Traffic Inspector booked in Rs. 2,000 bribe case

Gandhinagar: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed a traffic inspector (port) of Deendayal Port Trust (Kandla) in Kutch district of Gujarat or demanding Rs. 2,000 bribe.
According to ACB, accused Babulal Jivaji Mosalpuriya had demanded Rs. 2,000 bribe for smooth administrative procedure to unload a ship that had come from New Zealand with cargo of wood. The ship was at shade number – 3 where Babulal was on duty. He allegedly demanded Rs. 2,000 bribe for no harassments and smooth administrative procedure.
When trap was arranged by ACB in response to complainant’s complaint, accused Babulal was found absent, however it was established by ACB that he had indeed demanded a bribe and he was booked. DeshGujarat
