Increase in grade-pay of GSRTC drivers and conductors
October 29, 2021
Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has increased grade-pay of drivers and conductors of Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC). The drivers will be given Rs. 1900 grade pay instead of Rs. 1800 earlier. The conductors will be given Rs. 1800 grade pay instead of Rs. 1650 presently. The new grade pay will be effective from 1st November without any provision of arrears.
It’s worth noting that GSRTC staffers were all set to go on strike this month over the main demand of increased grade-pay. However after the meeting with Purnesh Modi, Transport Minister of Gujarat they had withdrew their strike call. DeshGujarat
