Gandhinagar: Gujarat congress in-charge Dr Raghu Sharma who is Health minister in neighboring State Rajasthan said in a speech here that the migrant labourers are living under fear in Gujarat.
Gujarat state BJP President CR Patil rejected this statement and claimed that Raghu Sharma has insulted the people of Gujarat. Patil stated about the industrial peace in Gujarat and the migrants easily getting food and shelter here.
Gujarat congress in-charge Dr Raghu Sharma said in a speech in Congress party’s function in Gandhinagar on Sunday, “Those who are have come here to do business, they have arrived here to provide industrial growth in the land of Gujarat. I am talking about their mental state – There is lots of fear inside them. If that fear vanishes today and indulge into hand to hand (show of strength) then they will know. That means, is democracy secure here? A family that has been for 40 years is of congress party. Rajasthan mostly talks about congress. They will not be able to say that here (in Gujarat) due to the fear. Such an atmosphere is not in the state. It is not in any state. Then, why is it in Gujarat?”
Gujarat state BJP President CR Patil reacting to Raghu Sharma’s remark said, “The statement given by Raghubhai Sharma, I feel, he has insulted the people of Gujarat in it. Maybe he doesn’t have the information but the highest number of people from various states are residing in Gujarat across the country. They wish to arrive here due to the industrial peace. They get food and shelter easily here.” DeshGujarat
