1.08 lakh diamonds in Kali Chaudash outfit of Salangpur Hanuman

Salangpur: The special outfit of Kashtabhanjan Dev in Salangpur on the occasion of Kali Chaudash today has over 1 lakh 8 thousand diamonds attached to it.
The total weight of the outfit is 15 kgs. It is made using 14 kgs silver and over 1 lakh 8 thousand American diamonds. It has 200 real diamonds, 100 grams of rhodium, 200 rubies, and 200 emeralds attached to it. The cost of the outfit is around Rs 31 lakhs. Total 8 chief designers and artisans worked for 1800 hours to prepare the outfit. It took around 8 months to make the outfit. It includes mukut/ ‘crown’, kalgi, kundal, galaband/ ‘necklace’, surwal, rajwadi set, mojdi/ shoes, and kandora/ waist belt. Total 24 peacocks are designed in the outfit with meenakari work.
The outfit is dedicated to the mandir by Vadtal mandir pithadhipati acharya rakhesh prasad, mahant purani Vishnu Prakash dasji, and Hari Prakash dasji Swami. The work of the outfit was done under the observation of Salangpur mandir kothari Viveksagar Das Swami. The outfit is designed by Pradipbhai Soni of Harikrishna jewellers, Ahmedabad. DeshGujarat
