Surat: Inaugurating the foreign post service here, Gujarat BJP chief CR Patil said this service will make it easy for jewelers to deliver the orders abroad through post at quite cheaper cost compared to private couriers.

Patil said, a new train connecting Surat to Bilimora will start soon. The new train will connect Surat to Bilimora in just 19-minutes.

He said a new flight is also going to start in next one week. He said the approval has been granted to the new flight connecting Surat to Rajkot, Bhuj, Amreli and Bhavnagar. The citizens of Surat will benefit from this new flight soon, he added.

Patil said this is the golden period for Surat. The Centre had fulfilled the deamand which was pending for many years. Patil said that thanks to Narendrabhai Modi, none slept hungry or died due to hunger in difficult period of Covid-19 pandemic. He said if previous Prime Minister (Dr. Manmohan Singh) would be at the helm of affairs in such a difficult time, just imagine, how many people would have died during pandemic.

The function was also attended by MoS in Centre Devusinh Chauhan and Darshanaben Jardhosh among others.
