ACB Gujarat nabs Assistant Sub Inspector in Rs. 10,000 bribe case

Gandhinagar: Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed an ASI of Kadodara GIDC police station in Surat rural in a bribe case of Rs 10,000.
A crime was filed against the client of the complainant at Kadodara GIDC Police Station. An application was filed in the court for releasing the motorcycle of the client’s husband seized in this crime. The accused ASI Rajeshbhai Dalsangbhai Chaudhari had demanded a bribe of Rs 10,000 from the complainant to give police opinion regarding the application. The complainant contacted ACB as he was not willing to pay the bribe. The accused ASO was found taking a bribe of Rs 10,000 during the trap executed by ACB on 4th November.
