Gujarat reports 24 fresh cases of coronavirus infection in 24 hours

Gandhinagar: Gujarat has reported 24 fresh cases of coronavirus infection in 24 hours ending at 5 pm today against recovery of 13 covid patients and death of none. The State had 220 active covid patients in the evening today. Among fresh cases reported in cities, Vadodara recorded 6, Surat – 5, Ahmedabad – 4 and Junagadh – 2 cases while Jamnagar city reported 1 fresh case. Among districts, Valsad reported 3 fresh cases, Junagadh – 2 and Rajkot – 1. Over 27,000 doses of covid vaccines were administered in 24 hours period, taking the total count across the State so far above 7.15 crore.
