Gujarat BJP’s page pramukh model goes national; target date April 6 given to all State units

New Delhi: The national president of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) JP Nadda today in his opening address at the National Executive meet of party at NDMC convention centre here assigned three tasks to party units nationwide.

BJP leader and union minister Dharmendra Pradhan in a media briefing today afternoon said, ‘there are 10,40,000 polling stations across the country and booth organizations will be completed across these all polling stations by December 25 this year as per the target assigned today by party chief JP Nadda. While 85 per cent booths are already covered, the rest of 15 per cent shall be covered by December 25.’

Pradhan said, ‘while party’s lowest unit is booth committee, at some places like in Gujarat for an experiment, page committees are also formed, going a level down to booth committees. A page organization covers each page in voters’ list. The party president JP Nadda has given target to complete the appointments of page presidents for each page of voter’s list by April 6 next year nationwide’.

Pradhan in reply to a question said that the party will obviously give priority to the States where elections are going to place next year while completing this target.

Pradhan said, the party president has also asked party workers to hear Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat addresses in institutional and organized way in each booth and complete this target by May next year

Pradhan said, with these three targets, the party will witness a very big jump in next six months. DeshGujarat
