SMC starts testing of those arriving to Surat from outside

Surat: Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) has started the covid-19 testing of those returning to Surat after Diwali festivals at 7 entrances in the city.
The covid-19 testing is started at railway station, bus depot, airport and 5 other entrances of the city with tracing the people. SMC has started this work at the entrances of the city at Jahangirpura, Valak, Palsana, and Kadodara check post with keeping a dhanvantari van and a mobile testing bus on stand-by. The vaccination certificates are also being checked. The RTPCR reports of the passengers conducted before 72 hours are also required to be submitted. The Covid-19 vaccination is started in the city at 138 centres today. DeshGujarat
