Sachin Tendulkar celebrates Gujarati origin wife Anjali’s birthday at over 75 years old Gujarati thali restaurant

Mumbai: Mumbai based very old Shree Thaker Bhojanalay has been admired by none other than Sachin Tendulkar, a Bharat Ratna awardee former captain of Indian Cricket team.

Sachin Tendulkar celebrated his wife Anjali Tendulkar’s 54th birthday on 10th November at Mumbai based renown Gujarati restaurant Shree Thaker Bhojanalaya with Gujarati thali along with the family in Mumbai.

Sachin Tendulkar posted a picture of same on Instagram. His daughter Sara Tendulkar is also visible in the picture. Sachin mentioned in the post that the restaurant has been running since 1945. He also mentioned his wife’s Gujarati origin in a caption.Worth noting that Anjali was born in Gujarati family. His father Anand Mehta is Gujarati businessman and Bridge champion. Anjali is from South Mumbai and she has been to Thaker Bhojanalay in the past.

Sachin wrote in a caption on Instagram: ” Had a સરસ Gujarati thali at Shree Thaker Bhojnalay to celebrate Anjali’s birthday. Her Gujju genes are strong but our jeans’ buttons were weak after this meal! 🤣 Also, was amazed to learn that this restaurant is running since 1945 🤯 ”

Sachin Tendulkar and Sara Tendulkar have been married since 1995 and have a son and a daughter. Their daughter Sara lives in London and son Arjun is an active cricketer. DeshGujarat
