Gandhinagar: Retired IPS officer of Gujarat cadre Harikrishna Patel will soon join ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Patel, a 1999-batch IPS officer is native of Amreli district. He attended BJP’s public function in Amreli in presence of Gujarat BJP president CR Patil on the stage. Patel retired from the police force in June 2021 as Inspector General of Police (Vadodara range).
