ACB Gujarat traps Deputy Mamlatdar in bribe case

Gandhinagar: Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed deputy mamlatdar (supply) of Mamlatdar office in Diyodar in Banaskantha district in a bribe case of Rs 10,000.
According to ACB, the accused deputy mamlatdar Prahaladji Rushaji Thakor had made a visit at the fair price shop run by the complainant. He had demanded a bribe of Rs 10,000 from the complainant to not point out any errors from the audit and refrain from any harassment during the visit.
The complainant contacted ACB as he was not willing to pay the bribe. The accused deputy mamlatdar was found taking a bribe of Rs 10,000 from the complainant during a trap executed by ACB.
