Gujarat CM meets 9 heads of industries in New Delhi

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel had a one to one meeting with 9 leading businessmen in national capital New Delhi on the sidelines of curtain raiser road show for Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2022.

The nine leading businessmen are MD of Maruti Suzuki Kenichi Ayukawa, Avaada energy private limited chairman Vinit Mittal, PI Industries MD and vice chairman Mayank Singhal, JCB CEO Dipak Shetty, Urban company CEO Abhirajsinh Bhal, DCM Shri Ram Industries chairman and senior MD Ajay Sharma and OYO hotels and homes managers.

MD of Maruti Suzuki Kenichi Ayukawa shared details about company’s Centre of Excellence in Gandhinagar and company’s investment of Rs 16 thousand crores in Gujarat during one to one meeting. Avaada energy private limited chairman Vinit Mittal showed interest to include Gujarat in company’s plan to investRs 20 thousand crores in nonconventional energy sector in upcoming 5 years.

OYO MD informed CM Patel that they are associated with 750 hotels in Gujarat and provide direct or indirect employment to 7.5 thousand people. PI Industry MD and vice chairman Mayank Singhal showed willingness to join the upcoming vibrant summit and make investment. JCB CEO Dipak Shetty informed about their planning to start the plant built with investment of Rs 650 crores in Halol till April 2022 which will provide employment to 1100 people. Urban company CEO Abhirajsinh Bhal showed willingness for the skilling program with the state government in the vibrant summit and to provide employment to youth including ITI students through their online home service platform.
