IMD forecast for nonseasonal rains in parts of Gujarat on 1st, 2nd, 3rd December

Gandhinagar: Several districts in Gujarat are likely to witness rainfall at isolated places on 30th November and 1st and 2nd December, as per India Meteorological Department (IMD) report.

The IMD report stated that light to moderate thunderstorm with lightning and surface wind 40- 60 kmph accompanied with light to moderate rain is very likely at isolated places in all the districts of South Gujarat region and in the districts of North Gujarat region namely Ahmedabad, Anand, Kheda, Panchmahal and Dahod; and in the districts of Saurashtra namely Surendranagar, Rajkot, Porbandar, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath and Botad on 30th November.

On 1st December, heavy to very heavy rain is very likely at isolated places in the districts namely Anand, Bharuch, Navsari ,Valsad, Amreli and Bhavnagar, as per IMD report. It further adds that heavy rain is very likely at isolated places in the districts namely Panchmahal, Dahod, Chhota Udepur, Surat, Dang, Tapi, Junagadh, Gir Somnath, and Botad on 1st December.

Heavy rain is very likely at isolated places in the districts namely Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Mahisagar, Dang and Tapi on 2nd December, as per IMD report.

Ahmedabad will witness minimum temperature at 17 ᵒC today on 29th November, as per the report. DeshGujarat
