Upset with “poor service”, Ahmedabad businessman holds procession of Porsche car

Ahmedabad: Even a Donkey or a chhakdo (sharing) rickshaw is better than Rs. 2 crore Porsche car – a line could be read over the banners pasted over a black Porsche car in the city.

A person namely Umang Kapopara had literally carried out a procession on the roads of the city with a group of drummers beating the drums. A rope was tied to the car and it was bring pulled by persons to symbolize that it doesn’t work after purchase.

The owner was upset with company’s after sales support and service. He said Rs. 2 crore car he purchased had number of issues with its brake, accelerator and more.

A 29-year old Kapopara, resident of Satyagrah Chhavnai in Satellite area of city had been in the news in last August as Police had booked him for drunk and drive with same Porsche car. The car had a plaque on the dashboard with ‘MLA Gujarat’ written on it and a stick-on gate pass of 14th Vidhan Sabha bearing the designation ‘Deputy Secretary’.

Kapopara had been also in news in year 2018 in connection with his another car as he had then filed a complaint with Vastrapur police stating that his car worth Rs 25 lakh was stolen from a parking plot of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) in front of Rajpath Club on SG Road.
