Savarkar was the father of India’s national security: Uday Mahurkar

Gandhinagar: A new book titled “Veer Savarkar: The Man who could have prevented partition’ written by authors Uday Mahurkar and Chiryu Pandit was launched in Ahmedabad under the aegis of Lions international, on Sunday by the hands of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel along with Paschim Kshetra RSS Sanghchalak Jayantibhai Bhadesiya and Swami Parmatmanand ji. Uday Mahurkar is also the Central Information Commissioner with Govt of India.

The book presents revolutionary Veer Savarkar in absolutely new light and focuses on his efforts to prevent partition and his national security vision for India. The foreward of the book is written by RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwatji . The book has been endorsed by Shri Rajnath Singh, honourable Union Minister for Defence, senior actor Anupam Kher and the titular King of Mewar (Udaipur) H.H Arvind Singh ji.

Mahurkar has two known books to his credit on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s governance- ‘Centrestage’ published in 2014 and ‘Marching with a Billion’ published in 2017. The Gujarati version of ‘Centrestage’ titled ‘Art of Governance’ was released in 2019.
