Rs. 2359 crore MoU for agri sector inked at pre-Vibrant summit event

Anand: The investors made Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) of Rs 2359 crores for investment in agriculture sector of the state in the 3-day pre vibrant summit organized at Anand Agricultural University from 14th to 16th December.

PM Narendra Modi will virtually address the pre-vibrant summit at Anand Agricultural University on 16th December. The MoUs were made in the presence of leaders including Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat and Union minister of dairying Parshottam Rupala.

The MoU of Rs 192 crore was made by Aamanya organic private limited for an ethanol plant of the capacity of 150 kilolitre per day. Iskcon Balaji food made MoU of Rs 500 crore for frozen potato base plant for snack production in Himmatnagar. An MoU of Rs 200 crore was made for agri-produce green e-commerce project in Gandhinagar. DAPS infra private limited made MoU of Rs 192 crore for a plant of 150 kilolitre capacity. Paras Spices made MoU of Rs 100 crore for dehydration, pack house, sortex, and spices grinding in Rajkot. UPS made an MoU of Rs 500 crore for an ethanol plant of 500 kilolitre per day capacity in Dahej. Central Institute of Brackishwater Aquaculture made an MoU of Rs 25 crore for infrastructural facilities. The Luna chemicals private limited made MoU of Rs 650 crore for ethanol project of 500 kilolitre per day capacity. The MoUs of establishing an ethanol plant from rice and maize in the state were made.

The three day pre-vibrant summit at Anand Agricultural University was inaugurated by Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat and Union minister of dairying Parshottam Rupala on 14th December. Total 10 themes will be focused in the 15 knowledge sessions in this summit. Over 90 speakers of renowned national and international institutes will deliver speeches. Over 300 companies will exhibit research about the solutions of the agriculture sector. Over 5000 farmers and officials of 23 states will represent in the summit.
