SVPI Airport to withdraw drop-off time limit of 10 minute 

Ahmedabad: The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) Airport has decided to withdraw the drop-off time limit of 10 minutes.
The airport authorities have decided that the waiting charges taken from the motorists who were unable to drop off passengers in 10 minutes and exit the departure area will be withdrawn from Saturday onwards.
The parking tickets were given to the commercial and private vehicles entering the terminal at the airport till now. If the vehicle took longer than 10 minutes to exit from the airport, the driver had to pay Rs 90 for up to 30 minutes and Rs 150 for 30 min to 2 hours.
The entry ticket booths have been removed. The vehicles of relatives coming to drop the passengers and intend to spend more time will be navigated to a dedicated parking area.
The standard parking charges will be charged for the vehicles parked outside the parking lot.
