Gujarat CM monitors Ahmedabad – Rajkot highway expansion project works

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel today observed various road development works that are under progress on Ahmedabad-Rajkot Highway route as part of six lanning project.

Patel had reached Limbdi in Surendranagar with chief secretary Pankaj Kumar from Gandhinagar in the morning today. They monitored the asphalt work of 6 lane highway road between Limbdi and Bagodara with road and buildings secretary Sandip Vasava.

They also visited the works of the bridge at Arnej under Tarapur-Bagodara 6 lane road. Patel had arrived via car route for site observation of the work of 6 lane highway of Rajkot-Ahmedabad in progress. He observed the construction works at various sites and reviewed the work with related engineers and officials.

A press statement released by Patel’s office doesn’t mention when these long-awaited works on crucial highway connecting mainland Gujarat to Saurashtra are actually going to be completed. There has been great hassle to commuters on this highway due to non-completion of highway expansion works timely.
