Gujarat govt promotes/transfers 9 IAS officers; Vadodara gets new Collector, AUDA gets new CEO

Gandhinagar: Gujarat government has promoted nine IAS (Indian Adminsitrative Service) officers.
Dr. Ajay Kumar, PS (Private Secretary) to Education minister in Central government in New Delhi is promoted to higher scale on the same post.
Jenu Devan, MD (Managing Director) of TCGL (Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd) in Gandhinagar has been promoted and appointed as Superintendent of Stamps and Inspector General of Registration in Gandhinagar replacing DG Patel. Devan will hold additional charge of Commissioner of Labour and Employment in Gandhinagar, replacing Alok Kumar Pandey.
Alok Kumar Pandey, Director, Employment Training in Gandhinagar is promoted and made MD of TCGL in Gandhinagar replacing Jenu Devan.
Ravi Kumar Arora, Director of Estates in Central government has been promoted to higher scale on same post.
RB Barad, Collector of Vadodara is promoted to higher scale and shifted to Forests and Environment department.
Dr. MD Modia, OSD (Officer on Special Duty) of Chief Minister is promoted on the same post with higher scale.
DG Patel, Superintendent of Stamps and Inspector General of Registration in Gandhinagar is transferred and appointed as Commissioner of Cooperation and Registrar of Cooperative Societies in Gandhinagar.
DP Desai, Registrar of Cooperative Societies in Gandhinagar is transferred and made CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of AUDA (Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority) replacing AB Gor.
AB Gor, CEO of AUDA has been transferred as Collector of Vadodara. DeshGujarat
