Four held in Vadodara for attack on stray cattle capture party of VMC

Vadodara: Four locals from cattle-keeper community allegedly attacked the stray cattle capture party of Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) in attempt to release a stray cow by force in the evening on Sunday besides Mahakali Mata mandir in Gajarvadi area of the city.
The police have nabbed one accused and 3 absconding accused are yet to be found. A person named Arun Devre living in Makarpura and working in a cattle party has filed a police complaint at Panigate police station. He stated that they had gone to Panigate area for capturing stray cattle on Sunday by making two teams along with the police. He stated that a total 4 persons had arrived and forcibly tried to release a stray cow being taken in the tractor by them in the Gajarwadi area. They called the police control room following which the police arrived at the spot and nabbed one accused named Tushar Natubhai Rabari. The remaining 3 accused Lakha Rabari, Mitesh alias Mitiyo Rabari, and Jashiben Rabari escaped when the police arrived. Panigate police have booked them and started investigation.
