ACB Gujarat nabs a police man over bribe of Rs. 4,000

Surat: Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed Assistant Head Constable of Mangrol police station in Surat district in a bribe case of Rs 4000.
A plea was filed against the complainant and his relative at Mangrol police station for violent fights and brawling. The accused Assistant Head Constable Pravinsinh Shantubha Gohil demanded a bribe of Rs 4000 from the complainant to present them to mamlatdar after taking actions for their detention on 12th January 2022. The complainant contacted ACB as he was not willing to pay the bribe. The accused was found taking a bribe of Rs 4000 from the complainant during a trap executed by ACB. ACB has detained the accused.
