Shah aims half of total farmers in his constituency to adopt natural farming by 2025

Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will emerge as a brand ambassador of diversion towards organic farming for farmers, said Union Home Minister Amit Shah while virtually addressing a seminar for farmers of his parliamentary constituency Gandhinagar organized under his leadership for providing guidance about natural farming.
Over one thousand farmers of rural areas of Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad had joined this seminar. Gujarat governor Acharya Devvrat, CM Bhupendra Patel, agriculture minister Raghavji Patel, and minister of state Mukesh Patel had also joined the seminar from Gandhinagar.
The organic farming logo, e-vehicle, and app were launched in the virtual presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the seminar.
Shah declared his aim of encouraging 50 percent farmers of Gandhinagar parliamentary constituency for natural farming till 2025. He declared the goal of 15 farmers from each village turning to organic farming in Gandhinagar parliamentary constituency in the year 2022.
Gujarat governor Acharya Devvrat said that over 2 lakh farmers in Gujarat have adopted organic farming and 10 thousand farmers are trained in the last one month. CM Bhupendra Patel said that the  best alternative for protecting water, land, environment and human health is ‘back to nature’ organic farming. He added that they have planned to activate a state project implementing unit in the state for publicity of natural farming.  DeshGujarat
