Vejalpur: A group of over 50 local residents gathered outside the Sub Zonal office of Vejalpur ward here over complains of low pressure in water supply. They said they had made representations time and again already. The locals said, low pressure water supply has been a great problem for Madhur Lakshmi Society, Sainath Society and other localities recently. Meanwhile the Municipal officials said that a newly set up Makarba headquarters water pumping station has been made operational recently and years old gamtal water tank of Vejalpur ward has been shut. As the new water supply system is activated recently, two societies that are located on height are facing low pressure issue. The procedure to operate the valves and correction in pressure is underway so as the process of washout for correction in the network inside the society area. The issue of water pressure will be resolved after these works are done.DeshGujarat
