Gandhinagar: Gujarat has recorded 17,119 fresh cases of covid-19 infection in a day against recovery of 7,883 covid patients and 10 deaths. The State has now 79,600 active case including 113 on ventilator support.

Fresh cases recorded among cities in a day; Ahmedabad 5998, Surat 3563, Vadodara 1539, Rajkot 1336, Gandhinagar 409, Bhavnagar 399, Jamnagar 252 and Junagadh 116.

Among total 10 deaths recorded today, 3 were in Ahmedabad city, 2 in Surat city, 3 in Surat district, 1 in Bhavnagar cit and  1 was in Valsad district
