Gujarat government launches Elder Helpline

Gandhinagar: The minister of social justice and empowerment Pradip Parmar launched a helpline for the senior citizens in the state named ‘elder line’ with a toll-free number 14567.
The senior citizens will be able to get the information such as government schemes, social issues, and details of senior citizen homes and senior citizen act of year 2007 by calling on the helpline number.
The helpline number is active from today. Minister of social justice and empowerment Pradip Parmar said that this new initiative of the government will be helpful for the senior citizens across the state, especially those living an isolated life. DeshGujarat
