Gujarat govt approval to Rs. 31.53 crore storm water drainage works in Vapi

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has granted in-principle approval to the works of storm water drainage scheme at a cost of Rs 31.53 crore in Vapi municipality.
The proposal of the works of storm water drainage scheme in Vapi under Swarnim Jayanti Mukhya Mantri Shaheri Vikas Yojana was put forward to CM Bhupendra Patel by Vapi Municipality through urban development department.
CM Patel has granted in-principle approval to the proposal for the works of setting up a network of 44.84 kms in 8 wards of Vapi municipality and making the optimum usage of the existing storm water drainage facility.
Thus, CM Patel had granted in-principle approval to the 7 works of a total cost of Rs 31.53 crore in Vapi including storm water drainage at a cost of Rs 24.94 crore, ground water recharge capsule, desilting and removal of existing pipeline, revamping of existing natural drain and so on. DeshGujarat
