Dhandhuka: Dhandhuka town is observing complete strike today against the murder of a Hindu youth. The strike call has been given by Aantarrashtriya Hindu Parishad (AHP) and Rashtriya Bajrang Dal (RBD).
AHP leader Ranchhod Bharwad said a youth Kishan Boliya martyred for Hindu faith as he was murdered just for reply he posted reacting to offensive remark on Bhagwan Shiv. Bharwad demanded a statue and naming of road in memory of the youth who died for Hindu samaj.  He said thousands of people joined funeral procession of late Kishan Boliya. He said various organizations including Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh are in support of today’s bandh.  Bharwad said, one who had filed FIR with police about eight days ago against Kishan and those who had called him to issue threat must be nabbed first by Police.
Kishan Boliya had died on the spot after two bikers shot at him when he was on his way to home on his bike on Tuesday in Sundarpura area. The deceased had allegedly shared a post on a social media platform which the Muslims find offensive. A video shared by him had an image of Prophet Muhammad. The police had acted against him earlier over the post after some people were outraged over it. The police suspects that the murder was likely over his social media post.
The deceased’s family had earlier refused to accept his mortal remains. They accepted the mortal remains only after the prominent members of society and Hindu organization members spoke to the police which assured proper investigation. The cremation was carried out on Wednesday with police security. The police have registered a case and started an investigation. Few suspects have been picked up by the police. Special Operation Group (SOG) has started further investigation in this case by deploying seven teams.  Dhandhuka Police Station’s Inspector CB Chauhan has been transferred and replaced with Sanand Police Inspector RG Khant, DySP Reena Rathwa is supervising the probe in this case.  DeshGujarat
