Gujarat govt mulling to hold postponed Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2022 on 1st May

Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat is mulling an option to hold Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2022 on 1st May which is the foundation day of Gujarat State. The summit was originally scheduled in first half of January, however due to increasing number of covid cases, it was postponed. The government had later planned to hold the summit anytime prior to monsoon. Finally, 1st May is being discussed as the possible date. However the situation of covid pandemic will be watched before making final announcement on new date. It’s worth noting that Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi is going to inaugurate the summit. Gujarat is going to witness general elections of State assembly later this year, in the month of December if on schedule. The model code of conduct will be declared prior to that in the month of October. DeshGujarat
