Gujarat CM inaugurates EV Centre of Excellence at i-Create

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel today inaugurated the Centre of Excellence for Electric Vehicles at I-Create near Dev Dholera in Ahmedabad.
The initiatives such as building a unique and integrated open source platform for the small electric vehicles and developing a green urban mass mobility platform as open standards for the cities are ongoing in the i-Create EV centre of excellence.
The state government has formed Gujarat Electric Vehicle Policy 2021 to support the objective of 2030 for the EVs of the central government. The initiative of the i-Create of making the EVs a focus area will help the state for the success of this policy.
i-Create had recently organized the green mobility challenge along with Start Up India and Uber to support the idea of increasing the use of EVs and adopting them. Total 400 entries of EV innovators were received for the challenge throughout the country. CM Patel congratulated the winners of Evangelise and the winners of the mega innovation challenge of 2 and 3 wheelers EVs of i-Create. CM Patel arranged a meeting on this occasion, and reviewed the future schemes of i-Create and had conversation with the i-Create supported start-ups. DeshGujarat
