West Indies Cricket team arrives for one-day matches at Narendra Modi stadium

Ahmedabad: The cricket team of the West Indies has arrived in Ahmedabad for the one-day series.The captain of the West Indies will be Kieron Pollard.
The team will play 3 one-day matches at Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad. These one-day matches are scheduled on 6th, 9th and 11th February in Narendra Modi stadium.
The Gujarat Cricket Association informed that the audience will not be allowed entry due to covid-19 pandemic. It said in a tweet: Considering the current situation, all the matches will be played behind the closed doors.
Gujarat Cricket Association stated in a tweet: “We are all set to host West Indies Tour of India ODI Series 2022. 1st ODI on 6th of Feb will be a very special and historic match as India will be playing it’s 1000th ODI. Indian team will be the first cricket team in the world to achieve this feat.” DeshGujarat
