Girnari saint Kashmiri Bapu passes away

Junagadh: Sant Shri Kashmiri Bapu of Girnar in Junagadh passed away on Sunday, February 6th at the age of 97 years. His samadhi ceremony is taking place today.
His original name was Omkargiri Guru Niranjan Dev and he was known as ‘Kashmiri Bapu’ among the devotees. He served as mahant of a place named Amku situated in the forest areas of Girnar foothills.
He was admitted to a private hospital after getting a puncture in his lungs due to filling of air. He had recovered after getting treatment for 12 days there. He was discharged from hospital 4 days ago. However, he passed away yesterday in the morning on 6th February. His mortal remains were kept for the devotees for darshan yesterday and the samadhi will be performed today at the ashram. DeshGujarat
