Another AAP councilor from Surat joins BJP

Surat: Another councilor of Aam Admi Party (AAP) has joined ruling Bharatiya Janata Party in Surat.

AAP councilor Kundan Kothiya joined BJP at State party headquarters ‘Shri Kamalam’ today afternoon in the presence of party’s general secretary Pradipsinh Vaghela and BJYM Gujarat chief Prashant Korat.

Speaking to media persons after wearing party’s saffron scarf, Kundanben Kothiya said , ‘I am joining BJP without any pressure, as per my own wish. I had complained repeatedly that party leader Dharmendra Vavaliya was harassing and torturing me. He also made my audio viral. I demanded justice from party leaders, but no action was taken against him and on the contrary I was blamed for making the audio viral.’

Kundanben was elected as AAP councilor from ward number 04 of Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) last year in civic elections. Kundanben is sixth AAP councilor to join BJP this month. DeshGujarat
