Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has finally transferred Rajkot Police Commissioner Manoj Agarwal to the post of Principal, State Reserve Police (SRP) Training Centre relieving BR Pandor, IPS from additional charge with immediate effect. It’s worth noting that in the past too, number of police officials have been transferred SRP training Centre and Police training school in Junagadh as what is in common term known as “punishment posting.”

Rajkot BJP MLA Govind Patel and Rajya Sabha MP Rambhai Mokariya had made corruption charges against Agarwal and presented supporting details to the State government and party leaders. The victims of alleged corruption also had made representations and given statements on record. The State government had ordered probe against Agarwal in connection with the allegations and handed over the task to IPS Vikas Sahay.
