Tripartite agreement signed to set up IIS in Ahmedabad

Gandhinagar: Gujarat government, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship of the central government and Tata institute of Skills signed a tripartite agreement for establishing Indian Institute of Skills (IIS)- Ahmedabad in the presence of Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel.
The tripartite agreement was signed in Gandhinagar. The three bodies signed the agreement and mutually exchanged. The IIS will be established with an aim of gaining a reputation in the field of skills, similar to IIMs for management and IITs for the technology sector. The global level training and education using modern technologies and devices will be given to the students there. The state government has allotted 20 acres land for establishing IIS at Nasmed, Gandhinagar.
