March 04, 2022
Gandhinagar: Congress MLA Punjabhai Vansh has been suspended for 7 days from the state assembly for using non-parliamentary words for minister of state for Home, Harsh Sanghavi.
On the third day of the budget session of State assembly today, Congress MLA Naushad Solanki left his seat and sat down on the floor for not getting a “satisfactory answer” of his query in the state assembly. The minister of state Harsh Sanghavi said that such arrogance won’t be tolerated. Then, the congress members started ruckus. Later, congress MLA Punjabhai Vansh used ‘tapori’, a non-parliamentary word for Sanghavi. Revenue Minister Rajendra Trivedi asked Vansh to withdraw his words. Vansh withdrew his words. However, the proposal of suspending him for 7 days moved by BJP state assembly whip Pankaj Desai was passed with majority and it was approved. The congress members had walked out from the state assembly. DeshGujarat
